The Bowman Residence, our new residence in the South Pointe neighborhood of South Sarasota, is a showcase of our FLORIDA MODERN design approach utilizing our thoughtful performance driven approach to architecture. Situated on a long stretch of canal, the property offers stunning views of the bay and sunsets over the adjacent Gulf of Mexico.

The home's V-shaped design naturally embraces the lot's form, with two wings extending from a central courtyard. This courtyard, featuring an expansive pool deck and lap pool, serves as the heart of the residence. The pool itself is a defining element, following the angles of the home and directing swimmers toward the waterfront and evening sun.

A central planter and water feature marks the center of the home, creating a focal point that is immediately visible upon entry. This feature not only anchors the home’s layout but also enhances the indoor-outdoor connection, inviting nature into the living spaces. The two-story design prioritizes blending indoor and outdoor environments, with ample glass and open spaces that allow for seamless transitions between the natural and man made.
